Simple bubble solution from three ingredients
For the first recipe you need a large bowl or another vessel with a capacity of at least two liters or more. The main ingredients are one liter of distilled or lukewarm tap water, hand dishwashing detergent (120 ml) and sugar (120 ml).
Instructions:
First, thoroughly clean the bowl or vessel. Then pour in the water. While stirring, add the sugar in the next step. It is important that the sugar dissolves completely in the water. Next, add the hand dishwashing detergent. When adding the detergent, make sure it does not foam. Exercise particular caution here. The combination of sugar and dish detergent ensures that the homemade bubbles are more stable in the end. Now the mixture must rest for six to ten hours. Choose a dark, cool place for storage. The refrigerator or pantry are best suited for storage.
Bubble solution for colorful soap bubbles
You can also make colored soap bubbles. You need 500 ml lukewarm tap water, a bowl with a capacity of at least one litre, 50 g sugar, 125 ml dish soap (sustainable) and eco-friendly food coloring.
Instructions:
Pour the water and the sugar together into the vessel. The sugar should gradually dissolve completely in the water. Similar to the first recipe, add the sustainable dish soap now. When adding it, no foam should form and the dish soap should be distributed within the vessel. The dish soap used should be colorless.
Now you need small containers for the food coloring. The bubble solution is put into a container with five to ten drops of the respective color. Of course you can also mix colors. Finally, the filled mixtures and containers must rest dark and cool in the refrigerator for half a day. If you mix a red dish soap with blue food coloring, the bubble solution will turn purple.
Bubble solution with corn syrup
You can also find recipes online that use corn syrup instead of sugar. Corn syrup and sugar produce a similar effect to environmentally harmful glycerin and can stabilize the structure of the bubbles. In addition to 60 ml corn syrup, you need 100 ml dish soap and 500 ml distilled water.
Instructions:
First mix the water with the dish soap in a large container. Then add the corn syrup while stirring. After the ingredients have dissolved and blended in the water, the bubble solution must rest for one to two hours in a cool place.
Bubble solution with vegetable oil
You can also replace the sugar with vegetable oil. In addition to 500 ml water, the recipe requires concentrated dish soap (approx. eight tbsp) and four tbsp vegetable oil. Pour the water into a bowl and mix it gently with the concentrated dish soap. Now the mixture should rest for half an hour before you add the cooking oil. The mixture must then be placed in the refrigerator for two to four hours.

In the supermarket there are various bubble sets with bubble solution and a blower. Regardless, you can also easily make the blower yourself. For a simple blower made from sustainable materials you need two small, thin wooden sticks and a fabric thread. The fabric thread should be absorbent so it can take up the bubble solution.
Instructions
For the blower you need a short and a long fabric thread. The size of the wooden sticks and the length of the fabric threads can be varied. Now tie the two wooden sticks together at the upper end with the short thread. The longer thread is fastened five to ten centimeters below and hangs through. The DIY blower is complete.
Dip the blower into the bubble solution. The two wooden sticks should be brought together for this. Wait a moment until the threads have fully soaked up the bubble solution.
