The quantities are designed for a 250-ml spray bottle. Larger amounts can be prepared in the same ratio.

Variant A: Standard (for robust cotton and blended fabrics)

  • 200 ml water (cold to hand-warm, ideally soft/filtered)
  • 50 ml alcohol: Ethanol (e.g. 96% denatured) or isopropanol (min. 70%)

Optional (only if necessary): 1–2 drops of dish detergent

A very small addition can improve wetting when the underarm area is strongly “greasy”. More is not better here: too much detergent makes rinsing harder and can leave residues. For functional sports textiles (membranes, finishes) it is better to omit it.
